Hiking route "Grand Ru"

This is an easy itinerary halfway up the hill, through the protection forest above the village of Bruil (1.723 masl): we leave the village of Chanavey, where the ski lifts are located (1.686 masl), we walk on the nature trail of the Gran Paradiso National Park until we reach the village of Oreiller. We turn left and we go uphill, with an elevation gain of 150 m, until we reach the irrigation canal called “Grand Rû”, above the village of Canavesan (1.800 masl). We walk on the flat walkway parallel to this canal until the icefall of Entrelor. We then go downhill to the village of Chaudanne (Broillaz) (1.800 masl) and then to the lake of Pellaud (1.810 masl). We finally go back to the starting point, walking on the valley floor on the above mentioned nature trail of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
